My Food Tracking Spreadsheet

Since kicking off my food month, I’ve been keeping track of where my food comes from. I started a spreadsheet so that I could build up my knowledge of Canadian food sources, and have something to refer to when I didn’t know what to eat for dinner.

It’s a work in progress, but you can check out the spreadsheet below.

We went to Phil’s Farm today and bought you a real (once happy) chicken. All the vegies are BC as well so you should be okay on your visit to the Island

You can buy loads of canadian food, go to any local vetgetable or fruit market and ask where the stuff comes from, some local farmers in the country side sell their products right from their farm,go to your local fruit growers and buy it strait from them, beekeepers still can sell unpasteurized honey. local butchers often sell canadian meat only. How much fresher can you get it…. Check the labels in the store and write it down for the next time.
